« Cahier Papillon » signé Scribe et Silk Laundry, réfléchit comme une ode au papillon monarque et évoquant ainsi son protagoniste avec plusieurs de ses qualités matérielles : papier de qualité supérieur avec senti soyeux (Cougar Naturel 70 lbs, 128 pages), Carton Kraft (Neenah), une touche de papier « Peacock » japonais fait à 33% de mûrier (un arbre adoré des monarques et dont se nourrissent les vers à soi), une épine orange et blanche visible et cousue (évoquant la couleur du monarque) et deux estampes à chaud plaqué or du logo de Silk Laundry (le monarque étant de sang royal). Sur chaque page, un nouveau papillon dessiné par Laura Prochowski a été ajouté afin de représenter la revitalisation de l’espèce du monarque rendue possible au courant des dernières années grâce à un florilège d’efforts mis de l’avant par plusieurs institutions, organisations et citoyens pour lutter contre leur extinction

The very fashionable “Cahier papillon”, signed by both Scribe and Silk Laundry, elaborated as an ode to the Monarch butterfly and therefore evoking its protagonist in multiple material ways: the best quality silky feeling paper (Natural cougar 70 lbs, 128 pages), Kraft Cardboard (Neenah), a touch of “Peacock” Japanese 33 % made of mulberry paper (Mulberry being a tree that monarchs love to eat and from which silkworms nourish themselves), an orange and white coloured sewn visible spine (to evoke the Monarch’s color) and a gold hot stamp of Silk Laundry’s logo on both cover and back (Monarchs being regal). On each page, a new butterfly drawn by Laura Prochowski was added, representing both the revitalisation of the Monarch’s species made possible during the last couple of years, thanks to the efforts of multiple institutions, citizens and organisation to fight against its extinction
